As the continuation of the war was a surprize attack, the Republic of Russia quickly pushed to the Urals in the east while in the west they recaptured Syktyvkar and pushed vack the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic to the uninhabited wastelands. Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic, impressed by how the Republic had managed to outsmart him, decided to make a small counter-offensive on the central front, north of the wastelands and south of the Pechora River.
