Following the collapse of the Russian Federation, Tatarstan built an army and was going to invade Chuvashia, who was controlling former territories including his old capital of Kazan. However, cooler heads prevailed and they agreed to an alliance and for Tatarstan to only annex his old territories after Chuvashia got his homelands back from the Union of Russia. Meanwhile in the Eastern Urals, the Republic of Russia had been expansionist alongside his ally of Kazakhstan and had already invaded and conquered the Ural Republic.
