Background[edit | edit source]
Following the collapse of the Russian Federation, Tatarstan built an army and was going to invade Chuvashia, who was controlling former territories including his old capital of Kazan. However, cooler heads prevailed and they agreed to an alliance and for Tatarstan to only annex his old territories after Chuvashia got his homelands back from the Union of Russia. Meanwhile in the Eastern Urals, the Republic of Russia had been expansionist alongside his ally of Kazakhstan and had already invaded and conquered the Ural Republic. Eventually, Tatarstan grew tired of lack of Chuvash action to try and take back his homeland, and agreed to help in a full-blown war.
War[edit | edit source]
Early diversionary attack and Republican/Kazakh intervention[edit | edit source]
At the start of the war, Chuvashia and Tatarstan played defensive on Chuvashia's border with the fascists while Tatarstan went on the offensive and attacked the Union of Russia's south, which was almost entirely cut off by the radiation with only a small sliver of land connection to the rest of the country. Quickly, the Republic of Russia alongside Kazakhstan decided to join the war to secure as much of the Union of Russia's south as they could before Tatarstan gained control over it. At the same time, Chuvashia began pushing in the north, which the Union of Russia wasn't paying attention to due to the attacks in the south.
Nuclear Bomb[edit | edit source]
As the war was going poorly for the Union of Russia, he threatened the Republic with launching his entire nuclear arsenal against him. He responded by threatening to nuke the Union of Russia himself with his own nuclear arsenal (Which had actually been stolen by the RSFSR at some point earlier). As they stared each other down and Tatarstan and Chuvashia advanced on both fronts, RSFSR dropped a nuke on the Republic of Russia, making it look like the Union of Russia was the one who did it. With both the Union and the Republic confused, they agreed to a truce on the southern front.
Further war and invasion of Bashkortostan[edit | edit source]
As Tatarstan and Chuvashia now sent most of their troops to the west and continued pushing back the Union of Russia further and further over the Volga River, they made the border rectification of Chuvashia moving his core territories across the river while Tatarstan re-annexed his old lands from Chuvashia. As a result, most of their southern advances were simply annexed by the Republic of Russia. At the same time, the Republic lined up troops on Bashkortostan, who was invaded by both Tatarstan and the Republic, falling after very little time. The Republic of Russia also annexed Kirov at this time in 2073.
Idel-Ural's entry into the war and stalemate[edit | edit source]
After the Republic annexed Kirov, his armies were disorganized, leading Idel-Ural, an ally of the Union of Russia, to use the opportunity to join the war in 2073, making some advances on the Republic. Idel ordered Chuvashia to backstab Tatarstan, threatening that he would crush Chuvashia if he refused. In spite of this, when Chuvashia did in fact refuse, although UR made some progress on his southern border with Chuvashia, Idel-Ural failed to make any significant advance of his own. Following this up, most of his advances would then get pushed out by both Tatarstan and the Republic of Russia during 2074. After Idel-Ural was steadily pushed back until 2075, all 3 factions agreed to peace.
