Ignition of the war

In 2079, Slovakia declared his independence from Poland. As the intermarium initially dealt with the rebellion handily, the Czech Order, a German puppet, demanded that Poland give independence to Slovakia. Poland laughed at this offer, only for Germany to suddenly enter the war along with his puppets and Scandinavia, who he had agreed to an alliance with. While France had prepared for this war for decades and had an incredibly strong defensive line that Germany could not break, Poland's lines immediately started to crack. France's plan was one that if they simply outlasted Germany, his economy would lag behind and crash due to his inferior industry to the Intermarium and they would win the war afterwards.

Early war and Hungarian encirclement

As his lines were holding up poorly, Poland tried to retreat to the Oder river and hold there. However he retreated too late, with Germany outmaneuvering and destroying 25% of his army as well as passing the river. South Italy also steadily advanced on the North. France tried to send him encrypted information on how to build an extremely strong defensive line known as the Beta Line, which was the same defense he had on his German and Lowlands border. However, Germany shot down France's satellites, forcing France to send his experts all the way across the Atlantic, Pacific, and Asia in order to reach Poland and give him the information. Meanwhile, by 2080 Germany had gone through Yugoslavia's land and cut Hungary in half, encircling massive amounts of his country and shortly afterwards capitulating him.

Anglosphere and Anarchist entry

Britain had, for a while, been attempting to figure out who was backing the failed British Revolution as well as the other anarchist revolutions across the world. At this point, he caught Kurdistan and Libya communicating with Kurdistan refusing to say anything about the classified documents, with Britain suddenly jumping in and demanding that Kurdistan tell him who the country supporting the Anarchists was. Kurdistan refused to budge, and Britain began an invasion through British Anatolia. Libya urged Kurdistan to just give Britain the information, with Kurdistan claiming that the country backing the anarchists was also spying on him and that he'd kill him if he leaked the information. Libya was able to negotiate with Britain to protect Kurdistan so long as he gave the information, where Kurdistan finally gave in and revealed that Germany was the country supporting the anarchists across the world. This immediately brought him into conflict with the Anglosphere and Kurdistan and pulled the Collateral Liberty Pact into the war.
