This very questionable victory made Spain doubt whether his cause was even worth fighting for, and his alignment with the morally dubious [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazi_Germany Third Reich] under [[Cinatit The Corruptor|Cinatit]] did not make it any better. As such, he opted to stay neutral and rebuild, watching his allies go to war, lose, and being trialed for war crimes at [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuremberg_trials Nuremberg].
